Catherine Wass, has been working in the fitness industry for more than 20 years. In 1996 she graduated with a 2.1 Bachelor of Science degree, with honours, in fitness and health. Her areas of expertise range from teaching yoga to coaching powerlifting and weight lifting. Catherine’s personal sporting achievements include becoming Powerlifting World Champion in October 2002 and British record holder for the squat lift. She is also three times British Powerlifting Champion, European Powerlifting Champion and British bench press Champion.

What are the benefits of personal training

Motivation: It takes more than stat-of-the-art equipment to reach your fitness goals. You need to exercise regularly and make each exercise session count. Catherine will help you develop the incentive to stick to your exercise plan.

Guidance: Catherine’s expertise will enable her to customize an exercise program, making it specific to your goals. One size does not fit all. Plus she will teach you correct form, which will maximise efficiency and effectiveness and minimize the chance of injury. Finally as your fitness improves, Catherine will fine-tune your program to meet your changing needs and make sure you continue to get results.

Convenience: If you don’t have time to exercise Catherine can calculate a schedule that will work for you. Together you can also brainstorm ways to overcome any other obstacles that stand between you and your goals.
