Do I need to exercise? I’m not overweight. Did you know that regular physical activity will not only remove pounds and inches from your figure, but also will improve your sleep, raise your self esteem, and improve bone density, reducing your risk of osteoporosis and fractures as you age?
All Doctors will urge you to incorporate a little exercise into your everyday life to improve your mental and physical health. Physical activity provides many benefits:
Exercise will give you energy to do the things you enjoy, such as spend quality time with friends and family.
Exercise will reduce feelings of stress, anxiety, and depression.
Exercise will clear your head so you can approach work refreshed and able to concentrate.
Exercise reduce the risk of heart disease, or improve physical functioning even if you have already had a heart attack or bypass surgery.
Exercise will reduce the risk of colon cancer.
Exercise will lower high blood pressure and risks of stroke.
Exercise will help your body control blood sugar (glucose) levels if you have, or are at risk of, diabetes.
The one thing that you can do that will most dramatically improve your health is exercise.
Why should I use a personal trainer instead of exercising on my own? Motivation. Why are the majority of us out of shape and overweight? One major factor is motivation. After a hard day at the office, we may not always feel like finding our running shoes, putting on our shorts and t-shirts and exercising ourselves. Cathy will encourage, support, and guide you through enjoyable and interesting workouts that you will look forward to each week.
Results. All too often, people are put off by exercise because their previous attempts have failed. Cathy will work with you in designing and implementing a program based on your goals and needs. The end product is a fitter and healthier body achieved in the minimum time possible without the aches, pains and general disruptions to your life and the lives around you.
Convenience. Having a personal trainer come to your home or office is by far the most convenient way to find time to workout. If you already have a home gym, Cathy can also custom tailor your fitness program to your needs or if you prefer, she can meet you at her gym, Hamiltons Fitness Centre in Colchester.
Safety. In effort to get fit as quickly as possible, many people fall for fad diets or inappropriate exercise regimes, which can lead to health concerns or stagnant progress. Cathy will prescribe safe and effective methods of exercise that will suit your individuals needs. She will check your body movement and posture while you exercise.
Expertise. Cathy will give you expert advice and guidance on many aspects of fitness saving you months or even years of hard work. She has the experience and education to help you reach your dreams and aspirations. You will discover that by making small adjustments to your lifestyle, you can reach your fitness goals without taking drastic measures.
